On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate Finance Committee cast a tie 14-14 vote on Joe Biden’s radical pro-abortion nominee for Health and Human Services secretary, Xavier Becerra, forcing two votes on the Senate floor–one to go forward with the nomination, and the next to have the final vote on the nomination.

During the confirmation hearing[s], pro-life Senator John Thune of South Dakota asked Becerra if he would continue pushing the abortion mandate as HHS Secretary.
“I understand that Americans have different…beliefs on this particular issue,” Becerra said in response. “By the way, I have never sued any nuns. I have taken on the federal government, but I’ve never sued any affiliation of nuns. My actions have always been directed at federal agencies because they have been trying to do things that are contrary to the law.”
Asked again about religious freedom issues by pro-life Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma, Becerra again framed what he did in a way that looks misleading.
“The actions we took were against the federal government, and once again, we were defending our state’s law and its rights under the law,” Becerra said.
Although technically Becerra filed his initial lawsuit against the federal government rather than suing the Little Sisters of the Poor directly, it’s a distinction without a difference because the Catholic nuns would be forced to fund abortions had he won. Instead, the Supreme Court slapped down his attempt to undermine religious freedom.
Becerra’s nomination is one of the most contentious, as there has been massive opposition from pro-life advocates who reject his assaults on human life, including his suits against Catholic nuns and support for partial-birth abortion.

Do you think if HE kept quiet we would have the gift of salvation that saves us from our sin. We must speak up for the sake of our children, unborn and most vulnerable or then we truly become robots and slaves to whoever is in charge leadership. That’s why we stand outside abortion clinics and pray to stop the babies from being ripped from their mothers womb. That’s our nations problem the pastors and Christian were pushed into a corner and didn’t speak out against these atrocities abortion and assisted suicide. Now there are the way society abuses their power to girt rid of those they Dean not worthy of life. I saw medical system in Ca starve and dehydrate my children’s grandparents and them give a deadly shot of morphine to kill them. They did this to my head infused bother as well until 2 days before he went home to the LORD he looked like the victims in the concentration camps of WWII. SICKENING I spoke out contacted the Congressmen there and Attorney General Becerra they did nothing it is still practiced today. The Dems take blood money of aborted babies and probably of those victims of assisted suicide. YOU see the root of all EVIL is money as our LORD’S word warns us.

This man Beccera is not an American Patriot. I used to live in Ca no access to care so I moved or I would not be alive now to write this comment. Ca is the experiment of what Dems want the whole nation of USA to look like and be. They are all about killing to make money off the most vulnerable. There is a dark cloud of sin in that state. The people didn’t fight back when I was trying to in 2009 when that horrible ACA/Obamacrap care was aggressively put in place in that state before any other. Planned Parenthood became a political money machine for Dems there they own Ca. They kills more babies in abortion then any other state. They are the capitol of sex trafficking, child molesters, rapist and murders no longer held accountable for their EVIL deeds they walk.
