Amid growing excitement among pro-lifers to watch the groundbreaking new film, “Roe v. Wade” directed by Nick Loeb, the leftist critics are coming out in full-force to try and do damage control as the truth is presented to the masses about what really happened during the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion-on-demand in the United States.
The Guardian’s film critic, Robert Daniels, claims the film is “shoddy” and that the filmmakers “want to spew this deeply biased anti-abortion malarkey as inartfully as possible.”
The heavily biased critique of the film does not feature much about the actual film, but rather, it focuses on how the film was made and gossip about the film director, Nick Loeb’s relationship with his ex-financeé Sophia Vergara.
The nasty review, which bashes the way the story is portrayed concludes, “After all of the controversies and production setbacks, Loeb and Allyn made the film they wanted. The irony for them is they have to live with it,” a jab at the film for showing a pro-life view.
The filmmakers wrote about the review on social media, saying, “Aw come on The Guardian tell us how you REALLY feel.”
Another review by Charles Bramesco from AV Club claims the film is “drab pro-life propaganda.” He also accuses the film of “serving up a buffet of lies, de-contextualized framings, and rickety emotional appeals.” However, Bramesco says its producers “lack a certain wingnut pizzazz” that other pro-life films have offered.
Bramesco was a little fairer to the film than Daniels of the Guardian, conceding that “Loeb’s big reveal that the medical industry runs on an elaborate system of corruption and payoffs isn’t all that far from the truth, but it’s hardly cause to dismiss the validity of medicine itself.” However, the review does continue to attempt to discredit the film in general.
On the film’s Facebook page, the filmmakers made light of the unfair review, writing, “Haters gonna hate… Proverbs 9:8.”
Regardless of the leftist reviews, the film is set to hit theaters and digital on April 2, 2021. Learn more on RoeVWadeMovie.com.
