On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court announced it will review the case of Cameron v. EMW Women’s Surgical Center out of Kentucky. The case concerns efforts by Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron to intervene in defense of the state’s ban on dismemberment abortions.

The national pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) celebrated the news, praising Cameron and state legislators for their pro-life leadership.

“It is encouraging news that the Supreme Court will hear this case,” said SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “We commend Attorney General Daniel Cameron for doing everything in his power to defend Kentucky’s pro-life laws, including its ban on barbaric live-dismemberment abortions, which was enacted with overwhelming bipartisan support. State legislators acting on the will of the people have both the duty and the right to protect their most vulnerable citizens – born and unborn. We look forward to seeing this right upheld.”

The Human Rights of Unborn Children Act (H.B. 454) was authored by former State Representative Addia Wuchner, a member of SBA List’s National Pro-Life Women’s Caucus. Signed into law in 2018 by then-Governor Matt Bevin after passing by an overwhelming bipartisan majority in the Kentucky legislature, it stops live dismemberment abortions after eleven weeks of pregnancy.

EMW Women’s Surgical Center, Kentucky’s only abortion facility, immediately sued to overturn the law. Cameron then moved to intervene after the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower court decision striking it down.

This will be the first abortion case heard by the Supreme Court since the addition of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, nominated by President Donald J. Trump. Barrett is a self-described textualist and she belongs to the Catholic faith.

Dismemberment of a live baby still in the mother!?? Has anyone seen an ultrasound of a baby moving around, sucking it’s thumb before it’s born? If these barbaric humans ever saw a video of a dismemberment of a live baby and see the pain on it’s face and if, IF the screams of this baby could be heard… the jury, if they aren’t on drugs…would need psychiatric treatment for what they condoned! A live baby in the mothers body is not a peanut in the shell…!!!

What the Supreme Court should be considering is the law of any number of states that prohibits abortions when a heartbeat can be detected. That is the only sensible NATIONAL standard, if any at all, for a court mandate that abortions be allowed.

What with two of the last three appointments sometimes straying from Constitutional guidelines, I’m not overly hopeful this case will go as it should. Personally, my legal question would be, “Is that child/fetus a living being?” There can only be one answer, “YES”. Then to abort is MURDER!

I really can’t believe so called people want to murder babies, think nothing of it. A defenseless person who cannot do anything on their own, etc…but, get so upset if their grown child, wife, husband etc gets killed! They want justice yesterday!
I really hope this case turns out the right way. Abortion is wrong, it’s sin and anyone who participates in it will be punished!
