On Wednesday, Joe Biden lifted President Donald J. Trump’s Title X restrictions which keep Title X funds from paying for abortions or allowing medical providers under the funds to refer for abortions.
The Title X Family Planning Program is the only federal grant program meant to provide individuals with comprehensive family planning and related preventive health services.
According to NPR, “A 30-day public comment period for the proposed rules begins on the afternoon of April 15.”
The pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute estimated that President Trump’s restrictions slashed the network by 46%, which saved countless lives in the process while allowing Americans not to have to fund abortion with these federal dollars.
Planned Parenthood abortion business, which would financially profit from the lifting of these restrictions exclaimed on Twitter, “GREAT NEWS!” The group added, “The Biden-Harris admin has the opportunity to expand & improve Title X to make sexual & reproductive health care access a reality for people across the nation. “

March for Life is strongly opposed to the Biden administration’s proposed #TitleX rules, which appear specifically designed to bring America’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood, back into the taxpayer-funded program and keep pro-life organizations out.
These rules would mandate abortion referrals in violation of federal law and stand in direct opposition to the wishes of a majority of Americans who do not want their taxpayer dollars subsidizing the abortion industry.
Abortion is neither healthcare nor family planning, and the Title X program should not be funding it.
A recent Marist poll found that a majority of Americans do not want to be forced to pay for abortions, with thirty-one percent of Democrats saying they oppose federal funding of abortion.
