On Monday, it was reported by Democrats for Life that two Texas state legislators, Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr.(D-Brownsville) and Rep. Ryan Guillen (D-Rio Grande City) bucked their party and voted for the pro-life Heartbeat Bill to save a baby in the womb after its heartbeat is detected.
“Two Pro-Life Democrats in Texas just went against their entire party and voted for the Heartbeat Bill, which bans abortion after a heartbeat is detected. Thank you for standing up for life under incredible pressure, Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr. and Rep. @RyanGuillen,” wrote the group.
Planned Parenthood previously targeted Sen. Lucio, claiming in a nasty campaign ad that he is a “dirty” Mexican. The Catholic News Service reported during the campaign:
Pro-abortion groups such as Planned Parenthood Texas Votes PAC and the Texas Freedom Network have repeatedly referred to Lucio as “Sucio Lucio” in direct mailing campaigns and online, calling him “dirty” in an apparent reference to his politics; the term, he and others have said, is offensive to Hispanics.
During the floor debate on the bill, Texas state Rep. Nicole Collier (D-Fort Wirth) claimed saving babies’ lives through the bill was a “waste of time. “[There are] so many things that we could be talking about instead of wasting time on something that is unconstitutional,” she said. “We need to focus on the real issues in front.”
Collier added that to stop an individual from killing a healthy child in the womb was “chipping away at me as a person,” arguing that one should have the right to kill their own baby, according to the Texas Scorecard.

I cannot wrap my mind around Collier’s thinking…NOBODY has the “RIGHT TO KILL” anybody, let alone a baby. In fact our Constitutional rights are actual God given rights. As our country was founded, our Declaration of Independence and Constitution said:
The constitutional guarantee that no person or class of persons shall be denied the same protection of the laws that is enjoyed by other persons or other classes in like circumstances in their lives, liberty, property, and pursuit of happiness.
How does she, or any one like her, i.e. Biden & Pelosi, remotely justify killing a baby? It is obvious, to me at least, they don’t even believe in God so they have no morals, ethics or spirituality about them.
