The leader of the pro-abortion “Catholic” group “Catholics for Choice” claimed the Catholic faith is “not Bible-based” while trying to promote abortion.
According to Life News:
Speaking with Religion News Service, Jamie L. Manson, president of Catholics for Choice, discussed the issue of whether pro-abortion Catholic politicians should be denied Communion. Her pro-abortion group uses the Catholic label, but it is not affiliated with the Catholic Church.
“Even for conservative Catholics, the sacrament is powerful and should not be reduced as some sort of weapon of political intimidation or coercion,” she said.
“Catholics are not evangelicals,” Manson continued. “We don’t take things on faith. We’re not a Bible-based religion. We are a faith that takes in multiple sources when we discern big ethical decisions.”
Manson also told the news outlet that the abortion issue is morally complex – a belief that contradicts a centuries-old teaching of the Catholic Church. Christianity teaches that every human being is valuable from conception to natural death, and abortion is a grave moral evil that destroys the life of an innocent child.
On The pro-abortion group’s Twitter page, it shared a graphic with a quote from Manson, saying, “I struggle every day to honor what is most life-giving in the Catholic tradition and to dismantle the teachings that do harm.”
Why have we not heard any darn Bishop denounce this group?
The members of this group can’t really be Catholics because they don’t subscribe to a basic teaching of the Catholic faith. Just saying a person’s a Catholic doesn’t make one a Catholic.
Catholicism is under attack and it appears the route cause of the discontent lies with the wavering rhetoric from the pope. Anyone that gives into the Bidens and Pelosi’s of the world is not a devout catholic. Time for a new pope?

It is time for the leaders of the real Catholic Church to stand up for the long held Catholic Doctrine. There are far too many Bishops that have defaulted on that issue.
It has nothing to do with being a Catholic, murder is murder. There are people in prison for killing their children. Life begins at conception. We are always at some “stage” of life until the final stage: death. And I wouldn’t want to be the one of the many who have decided to believe the lie in order to relieve their conscience…. notice how that word is spelled. I am a Catholic and the church has always been historically pro-life at all stages of life. Allowing the acceptance of Catholic pro-abortion politicians is an ugly cancer allowing to grow purposely in order to belittle our faith and our church and it seems to be coming from EVERY angle; one more nail in the coffin of religion in general and the Catholic church is especially being attacked because it is the last of religions to hold on to pro-life. But the other part of this destruction is of a society that encourages and glamorizes destruction: family, morality; beginning with acceptance of all kinds of ugly, disgusting words, actions. Calling good bad or evil or racist, etc., etc., and bad good. Our society has always “idolized” actors and actresses-they have a yearly special little statue they give themselves for being the “best” in their trade, when we should be paying homage to the millions of people who do REAL work, requiring thinking and physical labor. The Hollywood propagandists have done so much damage to our country; almost as much as politicians and and government; people comparable to George Soros. Me and my house will follow the Lord. Much of the Roman Catholic Church appears indeed to be based not on Scripture, but on hundreds of years of canon law digesting Scripture, sometimes wrongly so. That much is true. However, it is difficult to believe that any church approves of sacrificing human life to the bloodthirsty Moloch of abortion.
