Mount Saint Mary’s University has announced that it is mandating the COVID-19 vaccine for its seminarians, as well as all undergraduate students, despite the moral concerns raised by many Catholics, including priests and bishops in the U.S.

In information given on the university website, Mount St. Mary’s announces that it is seeking to achieve “80% immunity” by the beginning of the Fall 2021 semester – a milestone it looks to achieve through the experimental injections and mask-wearing.
As such, the Catholic liberal arts university, which is home to prominent Mount St. Mary’s Seminary, has decreed that “undergraduate students who will be taking classes at the Emmitsburg campus in Fall 2021 and seminarians are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 before coming to campus in August 2021.”
Exemptions are apparently considered for “medical or sincerely held religious beliefs,” however the university website states that it is now too late to submit such an exemption request. Catholic Vote noted that forms provided by the university mention July 31 as the deadline for submitting an exemption request.
The seminarians and undergraduate students at the Emmitsburg campus are also required to submit proof of vaccination before they arrive onto campus, and no later than August 18.
In my opinion the Catholic church has always been Marxist in their demands. The latest pope just proves it.
Quit the school. If enough students drop out the administrative personnel will change their policies fast. NO STUDENTS, NO SCHOOL, NO ADMINISTRATION!!!!!

WOW. SOOO glad I’m not a Roman Catholic! The Virus, which CDC now reveals is >99% survivable, is still not quite a paper tiger. But it is a bit of genetic Russian roulette: no way to predict who will get the serious symptoms, who will get mild symptoms and who will get none at all. From what I have seen, the adverse effects of the experimental, unapproved Frankenstein Vaccine are either not reported or are being swept under the carpet. Yet anecdotal accounts suggest some awful things are happening to some of those vaccinated. Thus the Vaccine just might be a more vicious, dangerous game of genetic Russian roulette than the Virus itself.
