On Thursday, Lara Trump, the wife of 45th President Donald Trump’s son Eric slammed a “totally ridiculous” MSNBC op-ed for comparing pro-lifers who are trying to save unborn babies to Taliban terrorists.

Trump, appearing on Fox & Friends, said the comparison is “totally ridiculous” because pro-life Republicans are working to protect human rights and the Taliban is doing the exact opposite.
“Let me just remind people that the Taliban is a barbaric terrorist organization who treats women as second-class citizens, subhuman even,” she said.
The Taliban prohibits women from working or getting an education; women are not even allowed to leave their houses without a male escort, Trump continued.
“We saw a woman murdered in broad daylight the other day because she didn’t have her head covered,” she said. “Yet writers are trying to compare that to pro-life Republicans who are actually trying to save a life, trying to prevent the termination of a life? Wow, that is quite a stretch.”
Previously, Susan B Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said, “MSNBC does the nation a great disservice in allowing this piece to run, which exploits Afghan women, ignores their values, and smears pro-life Republicans who are fighting every day in Congress to defend the lives of American women and their unborn babies from the extreme agenda of the abortion lobby.”
