Pro-abortion Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) left a Catholic church Saturday in the middle of Mass apparently due to “safety concerns” involving a nearby protest, according to the Catholic News Agency.
Life News reports:
On Saturday, she was invited to give a reading at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Rome, Italy, while she was visiting the country, the report states.
During the Mass, however, Italian security officials “made the decision to pull the Speaker out of the church” because of safety concerns involving a nearby protest, a spokesman for Pelosi told the news outlet.
The protest did not have anything to do with Pelosi and she was not a target, but the protest was occurring near the church and there were concerns about protesters being violent, journalist Joan Lewis told CNA.
What church leaders “learned after Mass was that a large number of the anti-Green Card protesters were moving in the direction of Via Veneto and they appeared to be violent,” Lewis said.
The Rev. Steven Petroff, the priest of St. Patrick’s, announced that Pelosi had left during the service, according to a video posted by Catholic Arena.

just how far this Religion will depart from Scripture? They are closer to the Muslim than the Traditional Catholic Faith I grew up with.
Today’s Roman Church has almost no relationship with the one I grew up with in the mid 50’s and most of the 60’s.
