A United Methodist Church pastor is promoting abortions as long as the mother makes a “thoughtful and prayerful” decision first.

Life News reports:

Pastor Robert Vaughn Jr., director of the General Board of Church and Society for the UMC, told Baptist News Global that the denomination takes a “reluctant pro-choice” stance on abortion. And his board is in charge of supporting that position.

“Terminating a pregnancy isn’t just a medical decision; it requires advanced pastoral care so that a person can look at the whole picture,” the Herndon, Virginia pastor said. “The United Methodist principle requires you to think through a decision, to seize the whole complexity of the question. It’s not as simple as some easy slogan.”

Vaughn said he once counseled a young, pro-life woman who became pregnant while she was taking medication that meant “she couldn’t carry the pregnancy to term,” according to the report. Rather than give her child a chance at life, she aborted her unborn child – a decision that Vaughn said was “moral.”

“I remember walking with her as she and her family went through that situation,” he said. “… It was good to be part of a denomination that respected her as an independent moral decision-maker, that gave her the right to choose.”

Vaughn went on to describe abortion as “health care.”

Such unabashed secular liberalism 9the NEW religion) has been infiltrating the Methodist Church for decades now, overriding Scripture and sound doctrine. Many confirmed lifetime Methodists I know have abandoned the Church. Their impending embrace of gay ministers will likely destroy the Methodist Church. Remember the Boy Scouts’ embrace of gay scoutmasters? Translate: soon there may be no more Methodist Church.

You should be removed and defrocked. God doesn’t mince words. Do not kill my children. No excuses. What’s happened to personal responsibility. There are many reliable birth control methods. There are morning after pills. There is no excuse for irresponsible sex. Just wash it away. I can’t imagine doing that. Shame. God will surely judge you someday.

As for me, the morning after pill is just as invasive as going to the client and having someone cut the baby out. God is in control morning after just as much as He is nine months later. If a woman does not want to have a baby the answer is to forgo sex. In the Bible, it says in my mother’s womb You knew me. That child is as precious at one moment and one month or one year.

Disgusting proclamation by a true agent of Satan which liberal communist leaning UMC now represent. They left John Wesley’s discipleship behind long ago.

With over 60,000,000 million abortions in the USA since Wade vs Roe and no national repentance, is it any wonder that the national progress toward prosperity has fallen into a morass deeper than just a pothole in the road? The ancient Israelis had the same problem for much the same reasons. (read 2nd Kings) The ancient Israelis were attacked and nineteen years with no repentance , they were decimated. We were attacked on 9/11 and nineteen years later we get covid 19 AND Joe Biden!!! Coincidence? How is that for a paradigm?

Wish these characters would stop calling themselves pastors. Anyone who supports abortion is a proponent of murder and have no business trying to support their argument with the use of a collar, flowing robes and no idea what God has to say in the Bible. Abortion is murder, prove me wrong!

He is Antichrist. Christianity has become totally infiltrated with these fakes. They are there to peddle their left-activist Marxist influence. The term of this type of infiltration is “5th column”. Derek Prince was in France back in 1928 and he walked over a bridge into Spain not realizing they were in a civil war. He high tailed it back to France but gave this example of what he learned. A general was asked how he was going to take the city. He said he has 5 columns coming. One coming from the North, one from the South, East, and West, but it is his 5th column that he expects to win the day. Reporter asked where the 5th column was coming from, he said IT IS IN THE CITY. This is what churches today are dealing with, this mass infiltration and peddling of their influence towards left social agendas and globalism. Read your bible to know the truth.

Where is his Godly Discernment? What he is saying is not in Scripture!!! If you’re going to represent the God of Christianity, the God of the Universe, Creator of Heaven and Earth, the Holy Trinity, get it right!
What in the Name of Jesus are you thinking?

So, if I decide that I need to take a life, it’s ok as long as I’m thoughtful and prayerful in doing so?
