Pro-life Republican Glenn Youngkin has his first lead in the Virginia governor’s race. A new poll shows the candidate ahead of pro-abortion Democrat Terry McAuliffe, who once held a massive lead in the marquee off-year election battle.

In the latest Trafalgar Group survey of 1,095 likely election voters, Youngkin is in the lead by a small margin for the first time, 48.4% to 47.5%.
According to the group:
While well within the poll’s 2.96 percentage point margin of error, it is the latest sign that the deflated McAuliffe campaign is sinking fast, threatening his chance at history by becoming a rare former governor elected again in the state that bars back-to-back terms in the office.
McAuliffe has admitted that Biden’s troubles are a hurdle in his race. He once said he’d welcome Biden on the campaign trail every day, but now he’s reaching out instead to former President Barack Obama.

McAuliffe is a long-time abortion activist. On his website, his section on “Protecting Women’s Rights and Ensuring Gender Equality” refers to how “Terry Will Always Be a Brick-Wall Against Attacks on Reproductive Health,” highlighting a focus on supporting abortion and abortion business Planned Parenthood.

One term under McAuliffe caused Virginia sufficient harm for the rest of the 21st Century. He erred by admitting, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.” Parents of children who attended, will attend or have attended government schools should be ferociously repelled by such communist nonsense.
As with many issues, the heart of this problem lies within the notion of public education itself. The central problem is acceptance of government control of our children. Clearly, our public system, K-12 through our best universities, has collapsed intellectually. A major problem is the K-12 segment is a monopoly in a nation where monopoly is considered a criminal enterprise for everyone else.
A free enterprise education system eliminates the ability to trample one civil right by supporting an opposing civil right. It also precludes indoctrination to unwelcome political agendas. School choice is defined neither by teacher nor the union. We need a robust free market able to deliver general subjects as well as specialties including athletics and arts. It’s a bad idea for any government to educate its children.
Dominion voting machines and illegal mail-in ballots will have to come to the rescue.
Anyone in Virginia who is considering voting for McAuliffe should do some real soul searching AND some research on this ex-Member of the CORRUPT, CROOKED CLINTON POLITICAL MACHINE!
