On Wednesday, Senator Dan Sullivan (R-AK) confirmed that he agrees with Pope Francis that aborting an unborn baby is murder.

Life News reports:

CNS News asked Sullivan, a pro-life Republican, and other lawmakers Wednesday at the U.S. Capitol about the pope’s recent statement condemning abortion as “truly murder.”

“Pope Francis recently said that abortion is ‘truly murder.’ Do you agree with him?” a CNS News reporter asked.

Sullivan replied, “I’m a pro-life senator, so I certainly agree that it is.”

The Alaska senator, a Catholic, has a 100-percent pro-life voting record from the National Right to Life Committee.
