Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) claimed the U.S. Supreme Court taking up major abortion cases is “extremist.”

Life News reports:

[The] Massachusetts Democrat, supports abortions without limits up to birth and wants to force taxpayers to pay for them – positions that polls consistently show are extreme and out of touch with Americans.

However, in interview with MSNBC on Sunday, Warren claimed that the high court and those who are working to protect unborn babies from abortions are the real extremists, according to Breitbart.

“Look, the court has signaled 40 different ways that it is an extremist court, out of step with the American people, and that it’s willing to line up and take a shot at Roe v. Wade,” Warren told “The Sunday Show.”

On Friday, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the Biden administration’s challenge to a Texas law that prohibits abortions once an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy. The court did not grant the pro-abortion administration’s request to block the law, but it did expedite the case, scheduling arguments for Nov. 1.

“Now, whether they’ll get rid of it entirely or just let the states continue to chip at it, come on,” she said. “They’ve given us every possible signal. But for me, what that means is it’s time for Congress to step up.”

“About 70 percent of Americans say they want that to remain the law of the land,” she said. “We don’t need the Supreme Court to do that. The United States Congress could do that. When 70 percent of the people support something, by golly, I think we ought to get out there and get it done.”

The Supreme Court does not decide matters of law in accordance with popular opinion. They interpret the the law.as it applies and in accordance to the Constitution.
Sen, Warren is a progressive nut job with NO REGARD for law that interferes with her bizarre opinions.

There was a time when slavery was the law of the land because the majority wanted it. Ruling only by majority is mob rule. That is why we have a constitution to protect the rights of the minorities and those that can’t defend themselves.
