Most abortions in the U.S. occur in abortion facilities like Planned Parenthood where baby killing is the main practice. But some hospitals and health systems, such as the University of North Carolina Health System, abort unborn babies in elective abortions, too.

Life News reports:

According to a public records request from The College Fix, UNC Health did 533 abortions in the past three years, or about 16 per month. These included abortions in cases where the unborn babies were conceived in rape or had disabilities.

UNC Health aborted unborn babies in “cases where the life of the mother was endangered if the unborn child were carried to term; the pregnancy was the result of rape or incest [and] issues concerning maternal and fetal health,” as well as “fetal anomalies; emergency procedures due to hemorrhage or infection; and elective procedures, as well as procedures for pregnancies that resulted in miscarriage and fetal demise,” according to the report.

When asked how late into pregnancy UNC Health does abortions, spokesman Mark Derewicz told The Fix, “UNC Medical Center follows applicable state and federal laws.”

On its website, the UNC School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology says it provides surgical abortions in the first and second trimester as well as abortions “for women with pregnancies complicated by medical conditions and fetal abnormalities.”

If the mother’s life was not in danger, I call that murder! Too many couples want children and can’t seem to have them. Even disregarding that, it still is murder!

Two facts supersede the problems swirling around abortion. First, it’s a private matter between obstetrician and patient. Secondly, due to the massive division of public opinion, public money (taxation) should not be allocated for it.

In 1850, Slavery was a “private matter” between massah and slave.

Abortion is not the business of government. Freedom is. Perhaps you missed that point.
