Sen. Steve Daines (R-MT) told Newsmax on Tuesday that the U.S. Supreme Court needs to correct its “historic injustice” by overturning Roe v. Wade and restoring unborn babies’ “fundamental right to life.”

“Our founding fathers had it right when they said life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness,” Daines said. “You can’t have liberty and the pursuit of happiness without first having this fundamental right to life. The Supreme Court has a chance to right a historic injustice, and that’s the Roe v. Wade decision from 1973.”
On Wednesday, the justices are scheduled to hear the case Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, which centers around a 2018 Mississippi law that protects unborn babies by banning abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
Currently, under Roe and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, states are prohibited from protecting unborn babies from abortion before viability, about 22 weeks of pregnancy. For the first time in decades, however, the Supreme Court has agreed to re-consider this precedent and decide “whether all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortion are unconstitutional.”
Daines slammed the old abortion ruling as “antiquated” and urged the high court to “catch up with the science.”
“This Mississippi case says you can’t have a late-term abortion,” Daines said. “It protects life at 15 weeks and beyond. Our laws are antiquated. Technology shows these babies are fully formed at 15 weeks. … They are amazing, beautiful little babies.”
“The United States is a global outlier when it comes to abortion,” Daines said. “… This is a pivotal point in history, and I believe we need to honor and protect all life. These little babies in the womb need to have a voice on Capitol Hill and the Supreme Court and we pray that will be the case tomorrow.”
The Justices need to understand that Roe vs. Wade Bill is an abomination against the WORD of God, and the WORD of God is the Supreme Law of all the Earth.
You Justices are pitting yourselves against God when choosing for Roe vs. Wade Bill, and please, do not think you will be innocent in your decisions, we all will be held accountable for our actions.
