Joe Manchin, the only pro-life Democrat in the Senate, announce this morning that he will vote for pro-abortion Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson. His vote undoubtedly erodes much of the good will with pro-life Republican voters he has earned for voting against a recent Democrat bill for abortions up to birth.
Manchin announced on Twitter he will vote for the judge, saying he’s studied her record and testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee this week.
“Judge Jackson’s record and career are exemplary,” he said.
Manchin’s vote essentially means Jackson will be confirmed. Republicans needed at least one Democrat to break ranks and join them — assuming all Republicans voted agaisnt Jackson’s nomination. Liberal Republicans Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski are always question marks — making it so Republicans would have needed more than Manchin to join them in opposing the liberal judge’s confirmation, an unlikely prospect.

This was absolutely no surprise to me. I have said from day one that Manchin is a left-wing hack DemonRAT.
Everybody kept saying that Senator Manchin was a “moderate” Democrat simply because he voted against using the filibuster. I have said all along that he is a “liberal” DemonRAT and his support of judge Jackson proves my point. He says judge Jackson’s record is exemplary. How so I ask. She supports gay rights, transgender identity, the killing of innocent children, reduced penalties for sex offenders and race-based appointments(just to name a few). That makes Manchin a “liberal left-wing hack DemonRAT.”
