The Planned Parenthood abortion business has filed suit to block the pro-life law Governor Ron DeSantis recently signed that bans abortions on babies after 15 weeks. The law is estimated to save as many as 5,000 babies from abortions but that’s millions of dollars in lost profit for the nation’s biggest abortion company, so it filed suit today hoping to overturn the law. The law was set to go into effect July 1 but the abortion giant is hoping to block the law while its lawsuit proceeds.
The Florida Senate passed a historic pro-life bill in April to protect unborn babies by banning abortions after 15 weeks. The state Senate voted 23-15 along party lines to give final approval of the Reducing Fetal and Infant Mortality Act (House Bill 5).
The ACLU filed the suit for Planned Parenthood and tweeted notice of the lawsuit today.
“The ban also threatens to put doctors in jail for providing essential care beyond that point. Florida, we’ll see you in court,” it says. “The ban would have a devastating effect on abortion access in a state where access is already restricted. Resulting barriers will force Floridians to remain pregnant against their will, endangering their families, health, and lives.”

These SJW issues are no different than when they walk into a bakery and demand that the owners bake a cake which offended the baker’s core values. What’s the problem of going elsewhere? If the baker lost that sale, it’s his business decision. There are plenty of other bakeries who will fill the order. Same for this Planned Parenthood group. Instead of wasting time, money, and offending others, how about providing transportation to an abortion-friendly state? But that would defeat the purpose of the “offending others” part. There’s this attitude of wanting to rub their opponents noses in it just to be mean. Democrats wouldn’t know what compassion is even if they tripped over it.

This lawsuit by the ACLU is going nowhere. They point out in the article that forcing floridians to remain pregnant against their will will endanger their families, health, and lives. You will not find any constitutional provision that allows a woman to kill a baby. That’s why the SCOTUS is getting ready to overturn Roe v. Wade. And in doing so, they will leave this issue up to the individual states to legislate this issue. The Florida Legislature has spoken and has determined that the law will save 5,000 babies from being killed each year. Sorry about your luck ACLU (baby killers).
