U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito mocked now-ostracized Prince Harry and the other “string of foreign leaders” who attacked the Court for scrapping the antiquated Roe v. Wade decision, which legalized abortion-on-demand in the U.S. Now, the issue goes back to the states.

The New York Post reports:

Alito, 72, drew laughter with his scathing speech at a conference on religious liberty in Italy, his first public remarks since the landmark 1973 abortion rights decision was overturned.

“What really wounded me — what really wounded me — was when the Duke of Sussex addressed the United Nations and seemed to compare the decision whose name may not be spoken with the Russian attack on Ukraine,” Alito said in a sarcastic tone of Harry.

The exiled UK royal’s speech — which cited “the rolling back of constitutional rights” in the US as proof of “a painful year” — was far from the only non-American whose criticism Alito dismissed.

“I had the honor this term of writing I think the only Supreme Court decision in the history of that institution that has been lambasted by a whole string of foreign leaders who felt perfectly fine commenting on American law,” Alito said.

Though Harry is part of the British Royal Family, he lives in AMERICA! There is NO royalty here. The people of Great Britain are SUBJECTS, not citizens. He is just another smug liberal elitist, ignore him.

Invariably, I agree with Justice Alito and consider him among the brightest. The Duke of Sussex and his colonial spouse? Not so much. I wonder what they do for a living these days. Obviously, reading is not their long suit. Perhaps they haven’t heard the SCOTUS simply ruled that abortion is not the business of the federal government. Clearly, Harry is conflicted.

In his mind, he’d have this highly personal issue remain with the highest authority in the land. But Harry abandoned his Kingdom and his lofty position in it. On the other hand many of us mere patriots struggle to keep human rights at the lowest level of authority, the state level.

Many of us mere citizens have been watching the European Union struggle and twist in the wind. But mostly unopposed, it devours messy independent nations with promises of peace, prosperity and protection. Once inside, escape is a hellish thing. Just ask Boris.
