Texans have seen some concerning messaging lately. California Democrats have infiltrated the state with pro-abortion messaging in newspapers and billboards. Gavin Newsom has been busy.
“Need an abortion? California is ready to help,” reads a massive billboard in Austin, Texas. The billboard shows a woman sitting with her arms crossed over her knees poised toward those horrific words. To make matters worse, they even twist scripture for their own infanticidal purposes.
The billboard cites Mark 12:31 saying “Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commitment than these.”
The don’t only twist scripture. A newspaper ad from California’s move takes a quote from Texas Governor Greg Abbott and twists it. the quote reads: “Our creator endowed us with the right to life. And yet… children lose their right to life every year because of abortion. In Texas, we work to save those lives.” In the ad, they cross out abortion and write “gun violence” above it and replace “Texas” with “California.”
The ad then reads: “Our creator endowed us with a right to life. And yet… children lose their right to life every year because of gun violence. In California, we work to save those lives.” They conclude by attributing the quote to Gavin Newsom. This ad ignores the fact that no evidence indicates that gun control affect childhood mortality or even lowers violent crime and its victims.
Newsom’s campaign set up similar ads in Indiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and others.
Democrats have chosen abortion as their primary battleground. This leaves it to us to fight with all we have to protect the unborn. The most vulnerable among us deserve better. After all, every pro-abortion advocate was once an unborn child.
Yes, & baptized Catholics are leading the march ! The church & her shepherds need an increase in courage & getting the unvarnished truth out to this sick world. Too many “blasts” from the uncertain bugler!
