Michigan: Proposal 3
Proposal 3 would make abortion a constitutional right in Michigan. It is also intended to advance abortion as it is “a proposal to amend the state constitution to establish new individual right to reproductive freedom, including right to make all decisions about pregnancy and abortion; allow state to regulate abortion in some cases; and forbid prosecution of individuals exercising established right.”
Like California, the measure is very popular among Michiganders and a poll by the Detroit Free Press found 64% plan to vote in favor.
