During her State of the State on Wednesday, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer defended her radical pro-abortion stance, declaring that pro-abortion laws are “just good economics.” Whitmer was re-elected to office in November, along with a new Democrat-controlled state legislature, and both have promised to repeal a 1931 state abortion ban. Whitmer and the Democrats in Michigan will make sure that abortion on demand becomes permanent in the state.
In her address at the State Capitol, Whitmer insisted that abortion was a freedom and a right: “Protecting these freedoms is the right thing to do, and it’s just good economics. States with extreme laws are losing talent and investment, because you know what? Bigotry is bad for business.”
She also detailed the bright future which an abortion on demand Michigan will have. “I can’t wait to share my vision for our state as we move towards our bright future, and lay out my plans to lower costs, bring supply chains and manufacturing home to Michigan, and ensure Michiganders have unparalleled economic opportunity and personal freedom.”
Whitmer continued, “Let’s repeal our extreme 1931 law banning abortion. Let’s repeal other dangerous laws prohibiting people from accessing reproductive healthcare or shaming them for seeking it in the first place.”
Pro-Life groups were quick to fire back at Whitmer, and SBA Pro-Life America released a statement saying, “Gov. Whitmer, you do realize your abortion absolutism is the definition of bigotry, right? The vast majority of Americans support reasonable, commonsense limits on abortion, whereas you can’t name a SINGLE limit you would support.”
A recent U.S. Congressional Joint Economic Committee report found that abortions have caused trillions of dollars in economic loss so Whitmer’s argument about creating a better economy makes little sense. Babies who are killed in abortions are not able to grow up an contribute to society, something she fails to realize.

Whitmer, like all liberals, is nothing but an unmitigated Communist hypocrite at heart. And since Communists believe in getting rid of anyone and anything that gets in the way of their Communist Utopia it only makes sense for her to say that murdering innocent infants in their mothers womb is good economics. It’s a shame Gov. Whitmer’s parents didn’t opt for an abortion. Economically, they could have save so much money in raising children that could have grown up to be great contributors into the economics of the Great State of Michigan and the U.S.A. Babies should not be considered an economic problem like Gov. Whitmer was not considered an economic problem. If you don’t want children, consider that before you engage in the act. .
