Joe Biden lied to a Catholic reporter on Monday in a ridiculous claim that American Catholic bishops and the Pope do not oppose forcing citizens to fund abortions through tax dollars. In reality, the Catholic Church has a longstanding pro-life position against tax-funded abortions. In fact, The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) just published a letter to the U.S. Congress supporting a bill that would end taxpayer funded abortions, “Protecting taxpayers from being forced to pay for abortion in violation of their conscience is a principle that has enjoyed historically broad support among Americans, regardless of their otherwise passionately divided views on the topic. It has also been life-saving,” wrote Diocese of Arlington’s Bishop Michael Burbidge. Watch Biden’s comments below:

Burbidge continued in the letter, “Rather than funding abortion, Congress can better serve the common good by prioritizing policies that comprehensively assist women, children, and families in need in ways that will not only encourage childbirth but make it easier to welcome and raise a new child.”

The Archbishop of Tyler Texas, Bishop J. Strickland was quick to fire back at Biden on Twitter:

Strickland called on the Vatican to take a stand and denounce Biden’s comments. After all, Pope Francis has specifically compared abortion to “hiring a hitman” and said humanity should “leave killing to the animals.”

I doubt ANY taxpayer wants taxpayer funded abortion.

Joe Biden is an apostate and has no business speaking for the Church. He was already barred from the Church’s Sacraments because of his fake “marriage” to Jill, who was already married at the time to another man, even before he turned pro-abortion and thereby excommunicated himself. Apostate Joe has no idea what a Catholic even is, and he needs to stop pretending to be one, and stop speaking for the Church that he has abandoned decades ago.

I’m waiting our senile Liar-In-Chief to next say The Bible or even Jesus supports abortion and I would not be at all surprised if that creepy dim-witted dolt actually goes that far.
