Through this campaign, participants work to promote a culture of life and to offer support and resources to women facing crisis pregnancies. The ultimate goal of the 40 Days for Life 365 campaign is to reduce the number of abortions that are performed and to encourage people to take action to protect the sanctity of human life. And in recent efforts of a couple of segments of the 40 Days for Life initiative, 3 babies joined the growing number of success stories the group has garnished by just staying vigilant outside of abortion facilities.

In one instance in particular, a Sarasota Florida couple drove to a Planned Parenthood where they were planning to have an abortion. Though the couple drove around the parking lot before they ended up heading for the exit. They were stopped by a 40 Days for Life participant who offered them a brochure and directed them to a pregnancy center. Before they left, they confirmed they would keep their baby, and in that instance, it marked the Sarasota group’s seventh spared baby of 2023.

In each instance, that the group shares, the existence of 40 Days for Life and the 365-day campaign make the choice of keeping a baby and choosing life much easier. The campaign and its volunteers allow parents to feel less alone and to feel like someone is there to help them. And in each instance, the group and their short interaction with parents made the difference between life and death.
