Ralph Yarl, a 16-year-old Black teenager, was shot by a homeowner last Thursday after mistakenly going to the wrong address to pick up his siblings. As the family grapples with the aftermath of the incident, which left Ralph with injuries to his head and arm, they are seeking answers and accountability. “Ralph Yarl was picking up his younger brothers when he mistakenly rang the doorbell at the wrong house. A man shot Ralph twice and now he’s in critical condition. His family needs support during this tragedy,” tweeted the family’s attorney Ben Crump.

According to police, Ralph had intended to go to a house on Northeast 115th Terrace in Kansas City, but inadvertently went to 115th Street instead. The confusion resulted in him being shot by the homeowner. Despite the severity of his injuries, Ralph survived and was released from the hospital on Saturday, currently under the care of his doctors at home.

“He continues to improve. He’s responsive and he’s making good progress,” said Ralph’s father, Paul Yarl.

We want charges. That’s what we want,” he added.

According to 9News:

Most recently, Ralph earned Missouri All-State Band honourable mention for playing the bass clarinet, according to a North Kansas City Schools’ newsletter in February.

He also plays multiple instruments in the metropolitan youth orchestra, his aunt wrote.

He is a member of his school’s Technology Student Association and Science Olympiad Team and is a 2022 Missouri Scholars Academy alumni, she wrote.

“Last summer, Ralph attended Missouri Scholar’s Academy, where he got a full college life experience,” Spoonmore wrote. “His goal is to attend Texas A&M to major in chemical Engineering. When asked how he plans to get into this university, he said, ‘Well, if they have a scholarship for music or academics, I know I can get it.’ “

Attorney Lee Merritt, along with attorney Ben Crump, has been retained to represent Ralph’s family. Merritt and Crump issued a statement on Sunday, expressing their concerns about the incident. The family is demanding justice for Ralph, who was unarmed and had no intent to cause harm. They are urging for a thorough investigation and for the responsible parties to be held accountable for their actions.

naturally like your web site however you need to take a look at the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I find it very bothersome to tell the truth on the other hand I will surely come again again.
