Former Disney Actress, Alexa PenaVega, who is best known for her role in the Disney’s movie series “Spy Kids,” has recently made a bold pro-life statement. PenaVega spoke out during a March 1st interview with Christine Yeargin host of Students for Life podcast “Speak Out” to say that not only is she a pro-life believer she has helped a young woman make a pro-life decision. During the interview she mentioned that she had helped save a baby’s life from being “snuffed out,” while telling about her deep pro-life views.

According to Western Journal and Independent Journal Review,
“PenaVega told Yeargin, “I honestly believe that you either believe in life as life as a whole, and you see babies, whether babies are in the womb or outside of the womb, as life or you don’t. And … once life begins — that is a whole baby. That is a beautiful life, and for me, I will do whatever it takes to protect that.”
She then went on to detail a time she helped a fan through the decision to keep her baby. She had said she spoke to the young woman, and fan, on a zoom call for an hour and a half before the young woman decided against an abortion. PenaVega said that she was excited to have the opportunity to help the young woman who she said was 16 or 17 at the time.
After telling the young woman about the gift children are, and discussing PenaVega’s own children she even promised to be there for the young mom through pregnancy and birth if she needed her.

During her interview, the “Spy Kids” actress also addressed pro-abortionists and the left. She said “ I think a lot of people feel like in today’s day and age if you’re pro-life that means you’re just pro-birth, and I think that’s a huge misconception on what being pro-life means. Pro-life means all of life, like looking at the aspect of the child but also the mom. The mom needs resources. The mom needs help. She needs love and guidance and sometimes finances.” She continued to say that she supports pregnancy resource centers, and helping young scared moms through the process.
While PenaVega mentioned her views could hurt her in Hollywood it was important to share her opinions and her stories. To end PenaVega said,
“I think we’re covering up the reality of what it is and it’s you’re killing a child,”
PenaVega said that being pro-life is something she will “go to the cross on.”
“They can cancel you. They can hurt you. But you know you’re making the right choice,” she insisted.
