A former contestant of reality show, “The Bachelorette” was arrested last month and charged as it was alleged he possessed dozens of porn images and videos including children – some even babies. According to reports, 27-year-old Joshua Georgefrank Tylerbest, who appeared on The Bachelorette in 2021, has been arrested after Google flagged and reported more than 50 child porn images and videos that had been uploaded to a Google account in his name. The reality show contestant was working as a IT consultant in Miami-Dade County, Florida when he was flagged and reported to local law enforcement.
This Google report sparked the Miami-Dade Police Department to begin an investigation into the account, during which Tylerbest had been continuously active on the account, “interacting” with the videos and images. After their investigation showed continued interaction, officers conducted a search warrant of Tylerbest’s condo and seized several devices including an iPhone with at least 15 abusive images on it.
It was reported by Blazemedia, that some of “the material depicts adults sexually abusing children under the age of 10, but WPLG reported that “some of the victims were babies,” citing police as its source.”
After conducting the search and analyzing their findings police arrested Tylerbest on February 24 at which time they charged him with “15 counts of felony possession of material depicting a sexual performance by a child.”
Tylerbest has plead not guilty and was released, after paying the $5,000 bond. He is currently scheduled to appear in court again in June.
Tylerbest may be known for appearing on The Bachelor’s spin-off show The Bachelorette in its 17th season featuring bachelorette star Katie Thurston. Tylerbest lasted four episodes before he was cut off. While on the show the network described him “as an “extremely family-oriented” man who wanted to meet “someone he can bring home to hang with his amazing family for a night of barbecue and playing cards.”
His show bio said “Josh loves hard and says there is really no other way to put it…he is humble, kind-hearted and goofy, but he’s also a hopeless romantic who has always been very in touch with his emotions. Josh is looking for a woman that is kind, open-minded, ambitious and adventurous. He consistently strives to be genuine and wants to find a partner who will do the same.”
No one affiliated with the show has made any comments on Tylerbest’s arrest.
