Pro-Life supporters are setting up a fundraiser for a pro-life advocate who was attacked and brutally beaten outside of a Planned Parenthood facility this past weekend. Two men, Dick Schafer and Mark Crosby, of the Baltimore County Right to Life group were outside of the facility when they were attacked, leaving one in need of serious medical help. Now pro-lifers in the area are coming together to help.

According to Life News,

Crosby’s cheek has been fractured, he will likely require a metal plate in his face and he was taken to the University of Maryland shock trauma facility for emergency treatment.

Schafer was reportedly slammed against the building of the abortion business so hard that a heavy planter was toppled. After the incident, a nurse from a nearby pregnancy center came to aid the victims and provide medical care to them.

According to a local news report, police are investigating the assault:

Investigators said on Friday morning that the two men, 73 and 80 years old, were outside the Planned Parenthood clinic on Howard Street when a man dressed in a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes attacked the two men after what police was an “exchange of ideas’” over the abortion issue.

Police said it was all caught on security video and shows at least one of the men fighting back.

The President of the Baltimore County Right to Life chapter has now set up a GoFundMe page to support Crosby with medical bills as he seeks treatment for the attack. The President, Jay Walton, stated that Crosby has been an active member and has prayed in front of the Planned Parenthood building for a while to help scared young women. It is now the communities turn to show Crosby that he is loved.

This attack comes after a recent string of attacks on the pro-life community as just days ago an elderly woman was shot and killed as she went door-to-door to share the pro-life message with members of her community.
