Senate Republicans Block Four Democrat Bills to Promote Killing Babies in Abortions
On Wednesday, four Democratic senators, who advocate for abortion rights, orchestrated a political maneuver by introducing four extreme abortion bills on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, causing Republicans to block them. Claiming these bills as “common sense,” Democrats employed the “unanimous consent” procedure to compel Republicans into a position of either rejecting the bills or permitting their immediate passage without substantial floor debate.

Ayanna Pressley Introduces Bill to Fund Abortion Travel
Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley has introduced the Abortion Justice Act, aiming to bypass federal restrictions on taxpayer funding for abortions. Under this bill, American citizens would be compelled to finance travel expenses and other financial needs for women seeking elective abortions, effectively disregarding their unborn babies’ lives. The Massachusetts Democrat presented this legislation on the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision, as part of an ongoing effort to counter what she perceives as a sustained assault on reproductive healthcare.

Senate Democrats Confirm Radical Abortion Activist Who Argued Against Dobbs to be Federal Judge
Senate Democrats have approved the nomination of Julie Rikelman, a fervent abortion activist and legal advocate who represented the Mississippi abortion facility involved in the Dobbs case, to serve as a federal judge. Earlier, President Joe Biden nominated Julie Rikelman, a pro-abortion attorney, for a position on the 1st Circuit Court of Appeals. Despite most Republicans voting against her confirmation, Senate Democrats secured her appointment through a 51-43 vote, with the exception of pro-abortion senators Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska.
