Welcome! From the heartbeat of the nation, The Daily Pulse gives you a look into pro-life news from the past 24 hours. Today, we are examining the headlines in the wake of the one-year anniversary of Roe v. Wade being handed down to the states.

Louisiana Has Protected 7,012 Babies From Abortions Since Dobbs Overturned Roe, All Abortion Businesses Closed
One year after the Supreme Court’s landmark Dobbs decision, which reversed Roe v. Wade, Louisiana has reportedly prevented over 7,000 abortions and all of the state’s abortion clinics are now closed. Sarah Zagorski, of Louisiana Right to Life, hailed this as a “momentous victory” that has made Louisiana safer for mothers and babies. Zagorski confirmed the group’s ongoing commitment to aiding mothers, safeguarding life, promoting adoption, and supporting resources like pregnancy centers and FindHelpLa.com.

Tennessee Abortion Ban Has Saved 10,000 Babies From Abortions So Far
Celebrating the first anniversary of the Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade, Tennessee Right to Life asserts that this decision reaffirmed the absence of a constitutional right to abortion, something pro-life advocates have argued since 1973. The verdict, delivered after nearly 50 years of Roe, rightly clarified that the Constitution doesn’t grant a right to abortion and returned the authority to regulate it to individual states. Consequently, Tennessee’s Human Life Protection Act came into effect, reinstating the state’s pre-Roe restrictions on abortions, thereby making it illegal to abort unborn children.

Pro-Lifers Have A Lot to Celebrate One Year After the Reversal of Roe v. Wade
In post-Roe America, the presence of states without abortion, increasing birth rates, closed abortion clinics, and an innumerable count of saved infants offer significant reasons for optimism. This new era signifies remarkable progress and change in the country’s abortion dynamics.
