A new attack ad targeting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis claims it is “cruel” and “inhumane” to protect babies in the womb from being killed through abortions.

Florida Politics reports the Remove Ron PAC paid for the video ad as Florida lawmakers consider legislation that would mirror the life-saving new Texas heartbeat law. DeSantis, a pro-life Republican, recently said he “welcomes” pro-life legislation.
“I’m pro-life. I welcome pro-life legislation,” DeSantis said, a comment highlighted in the attack ad. “What they did in Texas is interesting, and I’m going to look more significantly at it.”
Florida House Bill 167 would require abortionists to check for an unborn baby’s heartbeat before doing an abortion and prohibit the abortion if they detect a heartbeat. Typically an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable by about six weeks of pregnancy. The bill also includes a provision unique to the Texas law that would allow private citizens to enforce it by suing abortionists who abort unborn babies in violation of the law.
The ad slams the legislation as “cruel” and “inhumane,” using quotes from abortion activists about the Texas law.
According to Florida Politics:
“Really, Ron?” the narrator chides as images of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and U.S. Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, both of whom have criticized the bill, flash across the screen. “Even some Republicans call the Texas abortion law extreme, inhumane and unconstitutional. So, what else do you have to say about it, Ron?”
DeSantis’ answer: “What they did in Texas was interesting … and I’m going to look more significantly at it.”
Regarding Texas’ pro-life law banning most abortions, DeSantis said, “I’m pro-life. I welcome pro-life legislation,” He added, “I’m going to have to look more significantly at it [the Texas law.]”

Would sure like to see Gov DeSantis standing alongside Donald Trump in 2024 elections. He’s heading in the right direction with the COVID BS, and most certainly on the right side of the abortion issue.

In the case of many democrats, I’m in favor of retroactive abortion.
Isn’t it ironic the Dems call saving the life of an unborn baby (or one that was born after attempted abortion) inhumane, but with to protect the most heinous killers.
Yeah. Right. The truth is that God is ‘inhumane’ to THESE bozos and bozettes because He engineered the female to make babies. But God knows what He is doing, THEY don’t know what THEY are doing. Let’s hope God will forgive them.
God only forgives those that ask him for it. I doubt many of those that support un-fettered abortion know God or believe he exists. Satan will be happy to welcome them to his eternal abode.
The Dems are on the opposite side though when it comes to execute a violent murderer. Then killing is inhuman according to them.
DeSantis knows how to protect our nation. It’s too bad that these days, our nation needs protection from the communists seeking entitlements. Democrats would give it away to those too lazy to build strong prosperous nations of their own, where people want to live.
This has been waiting for a SCOTUS that understands life and when it begins. Without a legal identification of when life begins, we cannot change Roe vs Wade. I think we finally have one and may see abortion, no longer used as a birth control method or as a get rich quick scheme. Roe vs Wade may still stand, but will be clearly defined as what it was intended to do.
