Nebraska lawmakers have advanced a pro-life bill that would ban abortions and make killing an unborn baby a felony.
Sen. Joni Albrecht, R-Thurston, sponsored the Nebraska Human Life Protection Act (LB 933), which would ensure that every human life is protected in Nebraska. last month her bill received a committee hearing but it has been stuck in the committee ever since.
On Friday, since the bill was stuck in committee, legislators used a special procedural motion to vote the bill out of committee and onto the floor of the state’s unicameral legislature so it can receive a full legislative vote. Senators voted 28-13 to bring the bill to the floor.

The bill is a trigger bill that would immediately ban aboritons once the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade. Albrecht said the bill is sorely needed and Governor Pete Ricketts supports the legislation.

Don’t just ban it, RUN BABY KILLERS OUT OF TOWN.
The murder of of child, born or unborn, amounts to giving God your middle finger. Likewise is transgenderism, and homosexuality. Those who engage in such, or condone the practice of such should be prepared to pay the price. And since we have allowed all this to be done in our nation, by even legalizing it, we may be going to pay the price, as a nation. God is capable, with the stroke of His hand, to level an entire nation to the ground. We need to clean up our act, or face destruction. Think, Sodom and Gomorrah. Once upon a time, we were a united nation, under God, protected by Him, walking in His strength. We are no longer united, no longer one. And as a nation, we are no longer under His protection, because as a nation we no longer, serve Him or obey His laws. Some of us as individuals, or groups, still serve Him and do our best to abide by His laws. But as a nation, we do not. “It is a terrible thing, to fall into the hand of the living God!!”
