Republican House and Senate lawmakers have written the FBI to request information about the recent harassment of pro-life activist at their home. In the letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, more than three dozen Republican lawmakers asked why the bureau appears to be targeting pro-life people disproportionately under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act — which is designed to protect pro-life clinics as well as abortion clinics.
The letter reads:
“Overzealous prosecutions under the FACE Act weaponize the power of federal law enforcement against American citizens in what should firmly be state and local matters. Further, these abuses of federal power against pro-life Americans based solely on their beliefs undermine the American people’s trust in the FBI”
There has been nearly 100 abortion-motivated attacks against churches, pregnancy centers, and other entities in the United States since the May. The FACE Act is designed to protect both pro-life pregnancy centers and abortion centers but it seems the FBI is using it to target pro-life individuals who they deem to be “threatening” to abortion clinics.
The letter concludes:
“It is clear that congressional scrutiny of the FBI’s use of the FACE Act is needed to ensure the FBI is applying it as Congress intended and, if not, to determine whether the FBI can continue to be trusted with this authority”
NOTHING is more dishonest and lying than a Democrat politician. These appointed political hacks give orders to FBI agents, who then willingly carry out those orders to harass and intimidate political enemies of this Democrat administration. There has NEVER been a time in our country’s history when its “politicians in charge” have been so grossly anti American, and so thoroughly evil. The modern Democrat Party, and its followers, now belong in HELL!
Well, how in the world can we, the American people. keep our freedom when the so called govt is taking it way 1 day at a time? Ican only hope and pray that the republicans win ever race in every state this Nov or we are doomed to be another Cuba or some other sick socialist country.
Since the leftist government refuses to stop crime of all kinds, maybe the rest of the “government”. Could at least try to stop it. Your money demands just aren’t working as you might have noticed.
