Sunday it was revealed that one young woman chose to reject abortion after watching the powerful anti-abortion short film, “The Procedure.” “The Procedure,” voiced by “God’s Not Dead” actor Kevin Sorbo, details a true story following an ultrasound technician who unknowingly helps with a second-trimester abortion, only to end up quitting after watching the brutal death of an unborn baby struggle for her life. The four-minute film has been watched by more than 102,000 people on YouTube since it joined the platform last October. It has now helped, at least, one mother – creating an amazing story.
A Mother Choice Life
While abortion laws are heavily debated in America, and many states are still allowing second-trimester abortions, it is nothing like what Canada is allowing. This mom had told Choice42 that watching “The Procedure” was what kept her from following her closest friends’ and families’ advice and ending her baby’s life. Without watching she claimed that she wouldn’t have known what the process of a second-trimester abortion really looked like.
