Church Point Police were on the hunt for Isiah Dupree, 24, of Opelousas, who is wanted for holding the babies hostage and locking himself inside the apartment with a gun.

Police eventually entered the apartment to find the babies unharmed, but Dupree was nowhere to be found. It is believed that he had fled and locked the doors before a perimeter was set up by law enforcement. Warrants for Dupree’s arrest are currently being prepared.
