The upcoming Supreme Court case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization has people throughout the country riveted.
Live Action reports:
Though the case was filed regarding Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, it has been recognized as a case that will give the Supreme Court the ability to reconsider both Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. In Roe, the 1973 Supreme Court ruling legalized abortion in the United States, while Casey, in 1992, set viability as the standard for when abortion can and cannot be restricted. Because Roe seems to be hanging in the balance, abortion advocates are preparing for how they will react if it is overturned — and California politicians are already putting plans in place to make the state the country’s abortion destination.
Governor Gavin Newsom, along with state Senate leader Toni Atkins and Assembly Speaker Anthony Lendon, already joined the California Future of Abortion Council, created by Planned Parenthood and other abortion groups.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Gov. Newsom and other California legislators have asked a group of unnamed reproductive health “experts” to suggest policies ensuring abortion is well-protected and readily available. Those policies will then be under consideration when the state legislature reconvenes in January.
Dr. Janet Jacobson, medical director of Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino counties, told the Times that the majority of the women they see are from out of state. In preparation of Roe being overturned, Jacobson said they are hiring more staff and increasing “appointment capacity,” which presumably means the ability to commit greater numbers of abortions. “We have to make sure we can still continue to care for all of our California patients,” she said. “We don’t want them getting squeezed out.”
Ah Calimexifornia! The land of fruits, nuts and flakes strikes again! They’ll do anything to be just like their father the devil and murder babies in their mothers womb.
Better idea: ABORT NEWSOM and his evil commie henchman. They love late term abortion, LETS CHANGE THE TERM. NOW THAT WE KNOW HOW EVIL AND BROKEN THEY ARE, ABORTION IS ANSWER. ABORT, DISMEMBER, BURN REMAINS.
At the risk of sounding overly cynical here, it sounds as if abortion could become California’s new growth industry…..though that in itself sounds like an oxymoron. Anyway, how to make a silk purse from a sow’s ear…..among other adages.
My family lived in California when I was a child. That was a long time ago. It was a different place back then and was truly a paradise. But now, I’m so glad that my parents decided to move back to Tennessee where they were born and raised. I had a lot of family who also lived out there but they all moved back to the home state. I can only imagine how my life would have been of we’d remained in California. Instead of being a conservative grounded in God and America’s original intent under the Constitution, would I now be a brainwashed, willing part of this madness that California has become? I shudder at the thought. Thank God my parents were wise enough to see the writing on the wall.
Time to purge these evil monsters from society.
Calif = the New Babylon
How about retro-active abortions, starting with Gov. Newsom….what’s his age?… No… forget him, how old is Nancy P.?
Even though we live in the sewer called California, some two million of us voted to recall Gov. Nuisance. Of course it didn’t work – everyone with half-a-brain knows how the Demonic-rat Party manipulates elections to win. Let California be a lesson to the rest of the country. When there is one-party rule as in Democrats, evil and corruption rule. This Party is power mad and will do anything and to anyone to keep that power. They are the Party of lies and have been well trained by their father, Satan.
Racist California. The majority of abortions are black American babies. Wake up people of color.
I’m not a believer in abortion–particularly late term abortion, but in Gavin Newsome’s case, 54 years might not be too late.
Abortion is a consequence, a failure. When will society learn to tackle the causes of consequences.
