On Tuesday, radically pro-abortion New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his resignation amid constant scandals regarding sexual harassment and his handling of the pandemic, which led to nearly 15,000 people in nursing homes dead after he relocated virus-positive patients into elder care facilities. But Cuomo’s successor, Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, despite her Catholic faith, is extremely pro-abortion.
Life News reports:
A former congresswoman, Hochul had a 100-percent pro-abortion voting record from NARAL Pro-Choice America. NARAL and another pro-abortion group, EMILY’s List, also endorsed her.
More recently, Hochul joined Cuomo in supporting a radical pro-abortion law that caused national outrage when it passed in 2019, The Daily Caller reports. The law expanded late-term abortions in New York and repealed a state law that provided justice for unborn babies killed in crimes against their mothers.
Cuomo resigned Tuesday after months of scandals involving sexual harassment allegations and the cover-up of COVID-19 nursing home deaths linked to his pandemic response.
In March, an explosive New York Times report exposed how several of Cuomo’s top aides helped to hide approximately 9,000 people’s deaths to COVID in nursing homes last year. At the same time, the Democrat governor was receiving massive media praise for his handling of the pandemic and getting ready to profit from his new book, “American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic.”
In 2019, Cuomo signed an extreme bill legalizing abortion up to birth in the state of New York.
