An Indiana pro-life organization, Voices for Life, has obtained shocking records. The pro-life group was able to find records of more than 100 health and safety violations in 2022 by state abortion facilities. This exposing report has shown that three women along with their unborn babies died just this last year. Among those three, two were killed by what many Democrats have described as “safe” abortion pills.

In a story first reported on by the Federalist, the Indiana-based pro-life organization found more than 100 health and safety violations in 2022 by state abortion facilities. Those cases included the three women who were killed, at least four other instances of abortion facilities covering up sexual abuse of girls as young as 13 and two babies who were born alive during failed abortions.

Three Women And Their Stories
- One 31-year-old woman died as soon as her unborn baby was aborted on June 25, 2022. This abortion took place at the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. The abortionist doctor was Amy Caldwell, who is also an employee of Planned Parenthood. In this case, Caldwell gave the woman abortion pills to kill the 21-week unborn baby, who was diagnosed with a chromosomal disorder.
- Caldwell was also involved in the death of a 29-year-old and her seven-week pregnancy at the Planned Parenthood Georgetown location in Indianapolis. In this case, the woman aborted her baby under Caldwell’s care on April 5, 2022, only seven weeks into her pregnancy when, under Caldwell’s care, she also died.
- The third woman who died from an abortion in the state had a surgical abortion on November 8, 2022. She was 31 and her unborn baby was about eight weeks along. According to the record, the woman had a surgical abortion at Planned Parenthood in Bloomington under the care of abortionist Rhiannon Amodeo.
Other Disturbing Findings In The Report
Within the report, it was also found that at least two babies were born alive in 2022 in the state. In one case, at the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital, a baby who had only been in the womb for about 20 weeks had lived for three hours on March 28, 2022, before it passed away. It isn’t clear if that child received care or was left to die before it passed away. Though, in yet another case abortionist Caldwell presided over, a baby who survived an abortion procedure and was viable for NICU was killed by Caldwell and the mother on January 7, 2022.
Additionally, this report has uncovered that abortion facilities in Indiana may not be reporting cases of sexual abuse of young girls to authorities. Indiana law requires mandatory reporting of abortions on girls under 16 to the health department and the Indiana Department of Child Services within three days of abortion, however, that law was apparently not followed. In at least four cases, underage abortions were not reported to child services, one even leaving the date reported to the Indiana Department of Health blank.

Pro-life leaders have expressed their frustrations with state authorities and have even held rallies and contacted the Indiana Attorney General to look into this report and handle the violations. As of now, according to pro-lifers, none of the 22 abortionists listed in the report have been disciplined. None of the abortion facilities have been suspended or closed either. As this behavior is ignored more women are dying, more babies will be birthed only to be killed, and more children sexually abuse cases will be ignored.
